Thomas G. Stevens

Thomas G. Stevens, age 63, of South Daytona, Florida and a former Shelby resident, died Monday, September 6, 2004 at Manor On The Green in Daytona Beach, Florida after a long illness.

Tom was born February 21, 1941 in Mansfield the son of the late Clifford J. and Arlene C. (Long) Stevens. He was a 1959 graduate of Shelby High School. He was employed with Krispy Kreme Donut Company in Daytona Beach for 18 years. Prior to moving to Florida, Tom was an employee of Pioneer Career and Technology Center in Shelby.

He is survived by his sister and spouse, Connie and Joe Stuckert of Ontario; sister-in-law, Carolyn Stevens of Shelby; 4 nieces; 4 great nieces and nephews; 1 great great nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Edward M. Stevens in 1988.

Calling hours will not be observed. Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at 11 A.M. at Oakland Cemetery in Shelby with Rev. James Smith, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, officiating. Memorial expressions may be made to the church. The Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, is in charge of the arrangements.
