Teresa L. DeVeau

Teresa L. DeVeau, 88, formerly of 174 Oxford Road, Lexington, died early this morning in the Crestwood Care Center in Shelby.

Born on Oct. 1, 1899, in Olean, NY, she had been a laborer at the Olean Tile Co.

Mrs. DeVeau is survived by her daughter-in-law, Rosemary McKinney of Mansfield; four grandchildren: Daniel DeVeau of Hudson, Ohio, Deborah Handwork of Upper Sandusky, Denise Margavich of Gainesville, GA, and Diane Burson of Mansfield; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George DeVeau, in 1940; a son, George, in 1984; an infant daughter, Bernice; and one sister, Laura Fickes, in 1974.

Services will be held Friday at 11:30 a.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby by the Rev. Bernard A. Kokocinski of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Lexington Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday one hour before services.
