Steward A. Fackler

Steward A. Fackler, age 80, formerly of 238 West Main Street, Shelby, died early Saturday morning in the Heritage Care Center after an extended illness. He was born March 9, 1908 in Cass Township the son of Oscar and Verna (Russell) Fackler.

Mr. Fackler is survived by his wife of 57 years, Edith Mae (Troxell) Fackler, whom he married on
April 17, 1930; 1 daughter: Arlene Mae Dawson of Shelby; 4 grandchildren.

Mr. Fackler was a former employee of the former Fate-Root-Heath Co. in Plymouth. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Shelby and the Shelby F.O.E.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Turner Funeral Home with his pastor the Rev. Dr. Carl G. Beighley, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. The family will recieve friends on Monday from 6-8 at the funeral home.

Memorial expressions may be made to the Shelby Public Health League and left at the funeral home.
