Steven Dale Lake

Steven Dale Lake, age 55, formerly of Shelby, died Sunday, September 7, 2003 at Providence Extended Care in Anchorage, Alaska.

He was born February 27, 1948 in Shelby, the son of Warren and Reatha (Stickney) Lake. Steven graduated from Shelby High School in 1966. He served four years in the United States Navy and graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in 1972. Steven lived and cooked in New Haven, Connecticut and Anchorage, Alaska.

Steven is survived by his mother, Reatha (Stickney) Lake of Shelby; a brother and sister-in-law, Michael and Theresa Lake of Shannon, Illinois; and a nephew and his wife, John and Nancy Lake of Riverview, Florida.

He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Lake and a brother, Jeffrey Lake.

Memorial services will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Shelby on Sunday, October 19, 2003 at 3:00 PM. Memorial expressions may be made to Alaskan AIDS Assistence Association, 1057 W. Fireweed, Suite 102, Anchorage, Alaska 99503
