Stella A. (Swartz) Kennedy

Stella A. Kennedy, age 85, formerly of Shoup Road, died Thursday morning in Mifflin Care Center in Mansfield after an extended illness. She was born April 28, 1905 in New Germantown, PA, the daughter of Harvey W. and Alice (Brosey) Swartz.

Mrs. Kennedy retired from Stuhldreher Floral Co. in Mansfield after 35 years of service. Prior to that she had been employed at the Richland Screw and Machine Company in Mansfield for 25 years.

Mrs. Kennedy is survived by 2 daughters: Hazel M. Hall of Shelby and Evelyn I. Butler of Mansfield; 4 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Orlena Schoenman of Mansfield.

She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Calling hours will be tonight from 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday with the Rev. Dr. Carl L. Johnson Pastor of the First Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow in Little London Cemetery east of Shelby.
