Shirley I (Kennedy) Beach
Shirley I. Beach, age 75, of Leslie Lane, Shelby, died Thursday, September 16, 2010 at Med Central Shelby Hospital.
She was born November 20, 1934 in Mansfield the daughter of the late Carl and Jenness (Merriman) Kennedy. Shirley was a homemaker and a member of the Mansfield First Church of The Brethren. Family was very important to Shirley as she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting and created many beautiful pieces.
Shirley is survived by her husband: Lloyd G. Beach, whom she wed on May 28, 1955; a son: George (Sheryl) Beach of Newark, OH; a daughter: Tina (Tim) Hill of Mansfield; 4 grandsons: Brentton (Stacy) Brackett, Scott Hill, John (Danielle) Beach, Jason Beach; 2 great grandchildren: Cassie Jarvis and Johnathon Beach; a sister: Audrey Ginnever of Mansfield; 6 step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, and 6 brothers.
Friends may call on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 1-2 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will be conducted at 2 PM by Pastor Linda Lewis. Memorial expressions may be made to Mansfield First Church of The Brethren.
