Sherrie Lee (Crist) Morris
Sherrie Lee Crist Morris, age 55, of Crestline, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 3, 2012 at her home after a courageous battle against cancer.
Sherrie was a 1974 graduate of Malabar High School. For many years, Sherrie was the office manager for North Central Ohio Special Education Resource Center. She enjoyed fashion and decorating. Sherrie was very creative, and liked fishing, cooking, sewing, crafts and Ohio State football games. She loved animals, especially her cats. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Mansfield and the American Legion.
Sherrie is survived by her beloved husband Samuel Morris of Crestline, whom she wed on July 30, 1977 ; 2 sisters: Cynthia Metzger (Martin) of Shelby and Tamara Weichman (Dean) of Springboro; 2 nephews: James Brooks and Jeffrey Brooks (Courtney) of Shelby; great nieces and nephews: Alexis and Carter Brooks, and Sarah, Haylie and Isaac Brooks. Sherrie had many wonderful and caring friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Mary Burdge Crist.
Friends may call on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 1 PM by Rev. Charles Tobias.
