Sharon Arlene (Johnson) Granneman
Sharon Arlene Granneman, age 68, of Shelby, died unexpectedly Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in Columbus.
Sharon was born September 4, 1943 in Crestline, Ohio to the late John N. and Lucille (McGinnis) Johnson. She was a graduate of Colonial Crawford High School and retired from Newman Technology in Mansfield. She was a member of the Taylortown Community Church, where she was proudly active in its many ministries. Sharon enjoyed going out to eat with family and friends. However, her greatest joys were attending the activities of and spending time with her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids.
She is survived by her devoted husband: Larry E. Granneman of Shelby; 4 children: Rick L. (Joanne) Hartline of Galion, Lori (Mark) Solon of Lexington, Greg (Terri) Hartline of Crestline, Stacy (Cary) Craner of Lexington; 4 step-children: Bryan Granneman of Jacksonville, FL, Lawrence Scott (Pamela) Granneman of Las Vegas, NV, Roy Terrance (Bonnie) Granneman of New London, OH and Erica Dawn (Paul) Chase of New London, OH; 21 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a brother: James Donald (Ruth) Johnson of Safety Harbor, FL; a sister: Catherine (Paul) Crider of Ontario. She was preceded in death by her parents; a step-daughter: Sarah Beth Granneman; step-daughter-in-law: Ginny Granneman; 2 siblings: Bob and Phyllis.
Friends may call on Sunday, June 10, 2012 from 2-5 PM at Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 AM at Taylortown Community Church, 2656 Taylortown Road, Shelby conducted by her pastor Rev. O. Douglas Tackett. Burial will be in Crawford County Memory Gardens. Memorials may be made to Taylortown Community Church.
