Sandra Lee Gates

Sandra Lee Gates, age 58, formerly of Ganges, died Tuesday morning, Septmeber 14, 1999 in the Country Meadows Care Center in Bellville, Ohio.

Sandra was born May 27, 1941 in Ganges, Ohio. She is survived by 4 brothers: Don and Kenneth
Gates both of Shelby; Douglas Gates of Sunbury, Ohio; and Dennis Gates of Westerville, Ohio;
2 sisters: Dorothy Shaum of Shelby; and Betty Mellick of South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her father, Don Gates in 1963; her mother, Cleo Gates Mellick in 1989; 2 brothers: Teddy and Russell Gates; and a sister, Donna Nelson in 1994.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Oakland Cemetery in Shelby with Rev. John J. Bradley, pastor of First United Church of Christ, officiating. The family has chosen the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby to assist them with funeral arrangements.
