Ruthe M. (Schrantz) Brocwell Davis

Ruthe M. Brocwell Davis, age 91, formerly of Shelby died Tuesday, January 12, 2010 at her home in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born April 29, 1918 in Mt. Vernon, Ohio the daughter of the late Dayton and Marguerite (Poland) Schrantz. She was a 1935 graduate of Shelby High School and was a former employee of Wilkins Air Force Depot in Shelby. She was a member of First Christian Church in Shelby and the American Legion Auxiliary.

Ruthe is survived by her 3 sons: Wallace Kip Brocwell of Loomis, CA, Michael J. Brocwell of Shelby, Jeffrey D. and Carol Brocwell of Reynoldsburg, OH; 4 grandsons: Mark Brocwell, David Brocwell, Brad Brocwell and Patrick Brocwell; 8 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Stanley Brocwell on September 13, 1958, by 2 grandchildren and a sister, Maxine Waines.

Friends may call on Monday, January 18, 2010 from Noon – 1PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will be held at 1PM with Rev. Brad Mc Bee officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. On-line condolences may be made to
