Ruth M. (Cole) Mulvane
Ruth M. Mulvane, age 76, of 26 Myers Meadows in Shelby, died Sunday evening in the Edison Healthcare Center in Milan, Ohio, after an extended illness. She was born November 17, 1916 in Huron County, Ohio, the daughter of Vernon and Blanche (Long) Cole.
Mrs. Mulvane was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of God. She was active in the Myers Meadow community and Shelby T.O.P.S Ohio Chapter #426.
Mrs. Mulvane in survived by 6 sons and daughters-in-law: Arden C. and Carrie Mulvane of Plymouth, Howard E. and Nancy Mulvane of Mansfield, Wendell I. and Ruth Mulvane of Sandusky, Cecil L. and Cherrie Mulvane of Bloomville, Merlyn Jr. and Valerie Mulvane of Shelby, and Gary D. and Linda Mulvane of Bellevue; 3 daughters and 2 sons-in-law: Grace Uzunoff of Shelby, Evelyn and Duane Evans of Bellevue, and Bonnie and Larry Trimble of Bloomville; 35 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Robert Hass of Las Vegas, Nevada; 1 sister, Dorothy Newton of Mansfield; 1 sister-in-law, Evelyn Sheely of Louisville, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Merlyn C. Mulvane in 1975, 2 sons: Edward and Vernon Mulvane; 2 daughters: Susan and Betty Mulvane; and 1 brother, Arden Cole.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 7-9 P.M. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, where funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 A.M. with the Revs. Charles Sanders, Edward Legg, and Rodney Mulvane, officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven.
Memorial expressions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and left in care of the Turner Funeral Home.
