Ruth L. (Dreher) Pugh

Ruth L. Pugh, age 93 , of 4 Earl Avenue, Shelby, died unexpectedly at 3:58a.m. Wednesday in Shelby Memorial Hospital. She was born January 31, 1896, the daughter of the late Frederick and Louise (Schock) Dreher.

Mrs. Pugh retired as a secretary at the former Shelby Sales Book Co. and was affiliated with the Methodist Church.

She is survived by a close friend, Terry Fought of Shelby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Richard Pugh on March 8, 1964, and by a sister, Esther Bender in December 1984.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Marion Cemetery, Marion, Ohio. It was Mrs. Pugh’s request that there be no calling hours.

Memorial expressions may be made to the Animal Protection League and left at the Turner Funeral Home which is in charge of the arrangenents.
