Ruth Elaine Gough

Ruth Elaine Gough, age 72, of 90 Third Street, Shelby, died Sunday morning, August 17, 2003 at Med Central Shelby Hospital.

She was born April 19, 1931 in Grafton, West Virginia the daughter of the late George H. and Ruth Welsh. Mrs. Gough was a graduate of Grafton High School and was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Shelby.

Elaine is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Becky and Rob Brockman of Flower Mound, TX; a son and daughter-in-law: Gary and Debbie Gough of Westerville, OH; 6 Grandchildren: Megan Sykes, Leslie Brockman and Lauren Brockman all of Flower Mound, TX, Ryan Gough, Jason Stone and Trevor Stone all of Westerville, OH; a sister: Jean Shahan of Murray, KY. Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, JoAnn Wooddell.

Friends may call on Tuesday, August 19, 2003 from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, Ohio 44875, where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM by Rev. Gail Angel. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial expressions may be made to Shelby Home and Public Health.
