Ruth Cronenwett
Ruth A. Cronenwett, 76, of 25 Sunset Drive, died Friday, March 23, 2007, at MedCentral/Shelby Hospital.
Ruth had been battling cancer, but her death was unexpected.
She was born Jan. 4, 1931, in Shelby. Ruth was a homemaker and a 1949 grad uate of Shelby High School. She was a member of Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Ruth enjoyed crossword puzzles, word searches, gardening and traveling. For over 30 years, she and her husband Stan spent many wonderful days on their boat on Lake Erie.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley “Stan” Cronenwett, whom she wed on Dec. 26, 1951; a daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Jim Robinson of Shelby; a son, Steven Cronenwett of Shelby; three grandchildren, Jacob Robinson, Andrew Robinson, and Logan Cronenwett.
She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Alberta M. (Lux) and Raymond “Jim” Fullager; and by a son, Mike Cronenwett.
Friends may call Sunday, March 25, 2007 from 2-4 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home, 168 W. Main St., Shelby, where funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. with Deacon Steven Keller officiating. Burial will be in Most Pure Heart of Mary Cath olic Cemetery.
