Ruth (Bevier) Wiegman
Ruth (Bevier) Wiegman, 90, formerly of Taylortown Road, died Sunday afternoon in the Woodlawn Nursing Home in Mansfield after an extended illness.
Born July 19, 1896 in Plymouth, she was the daughter of Charles Huff and Ita (Buckingham) Bevier.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Kent, the Brimfield Ohio Grange, the Shelby AARP, and the Kent Golden Age Club.
Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Walter (Maxine) Channing of Shelby and Marjorie E. Artale of Long Key, FL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, L.M. (Max) Wiegman, in 1971.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Restland Cemetery in Brimfield with Rev. Bruce Blackie officiating. Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Kent or the charity of the donor’s choice and can be left at Turner Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
