Russell H. Keinath
Russell H. Keinath, age 85, of 107 Walnut Street, Shelby, died Sunday evening at his home after an extended illness. He was born August 1, 1911 in Shelby the son of Jacob Herbert “Herb” and Alice (Crall) Keinath.
Mr. Keinath was a retired employee of the A.M.F. Company in Shelby and had been a life time member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #763 in Shelby.
He is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law, A. Jean and Tim Detillon, Sr. of Shelby and Marie and Steve Metzger of Westerville, Ohio; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Don Keinath and Corliss Keinath both of Shelby; 2 sisters, Mildred Frank of Shelby and Mary Trago of New Washington, Ohio.
Mr. Keinath was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Lester Keinath and by 1 sister, Pauline Pope.
Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Shelby with Rev. Herman Copley, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
