Rosina U. Finnegan, age 89, formerly of 29 Plum Avenue, Shelby, died Sunday evening, September 29, 1996 in the Heritage Care Center in Shelby. She was born October 13, 1906 in Shelby the daughter of William Bernard and Nellie (Whalon) Finnegan.

Miss Finnegan was a retired employee of the Shelby Sales Book Co. and was a member of Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Church, Catholic Ladies of Columbia and the Altar Rosary Society.

She is survived by 2 nieces, Virginia Heisey of Newark, Ohio and Mariann Holachek of Westlake, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Marie O’Ferrall in 1992 and Helen Finnegan in 1987 and by 2 brothers, John Finnegan in 1954 and Richard Finnegan in 1975.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9-9:30 a.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Church in Shelby with her pastor, Father John C. Missler, officiating. Burial will be in Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial expressions may be made to the Most Pure Hear Of Mary Catholic Church endowment fund and left in care of the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, Ohio 44875.
