Robert William Light

Robert William Light, age 37, of 425 Abbeyfeale Road, Mansfield, died Thursday afternoon in the Cleveland Clinic after a sudden illness. He was born January 23, 1957.

Mr. Light was an employee of U-Brand Corp. in Shelby for the past 15 years. He attended the Marion Avenue Grace Brethren Church in Mansfield. He was a member of Machinist Local 1556. He was a 1975 graduate of Mansfield Christian High School and a 1977 graduate of North Central Technical College.

He is survived by his wife Dawn (Emery) Light whom he married on September 11, 1982; 2 daughters: Nicole Renae Light and Stacey Kristine Light both at home; his parents, William A. and Lillian M. (Lane) Light of Mansfield; his father and mother-in-law, Orlan E. and Janis Emery of Ashland.

Calling hours will be on Sunday from 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby where funeral services will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Lester Vnasdale, Associate Pastor of the Marion Avenue Grace Brethren Church, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.

Memorial expressions may be made to an educational fund for his daughters’ education and left in care of the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby.
