Robert Paul Graham

Robert Paul Graham, age 86, of 62 Raymond Ave., Shelby, died Thursday morning, May 15, 1997 in Med-Central Shelby hospital after a short illness. He was born March 4, 1911 in Huntsville, Ohio, the son of James J. and Mae Eliza [ White ] Graham.

Mr Graham was a retired meat cutter for various area grocery stores, after his retirement he worked as a custodian and bus driver for the Shelby city schools. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Shelby, AARP, Shelby American Legion O’Brien Post 326, a 50 year member of Shelby Masonic Lodge 350 F & AM, and charter member of Shelby Moose Lodge 422.

He is survived by his wife, Georgia Pry Graham, whom he married on June 29, 1980; 4 daughters and 3 sons- in- law, Melba Armstrong of Anchorage Alaska, Pam Weaver of Shelby, Bobbie and Tom “Huff” Payne of Shelby, Tom and Kyle Utz of Shelby, and Paul Nicholson of Bucyrus, 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, 1 brother; Ralph Graham of Upper Sandusky.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Lola [ Sims ] Graham in 1979, 1 daughter Sandra Nicholson in 1996, and 1 sister Irene Dye.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby where funeral services will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Craig Jones officiating. Burial will be in Chapel Heights Memory Garden in Marion Ohio.
