Robert H. Moser

Robert H. Moser, age 75, of 47 Roberts Drive, Shelby, died Friday afternoon, July 5, 1996 at Med Central – Mansfield Hospital after a short illness. He was born April 2, 1921 in Shiloh, Ohio the son of Martin and Leona (Hunter) Moser.

Mr. Moser was a 1939 graduate of Shiloh High School , and was an Army veteran of WWII. He retired in 1980 from Sprint United Telephone Company in Mansfield, after 40 years of service. He was a member of Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Church and Shelby American Legion O’Brien Post #326.

He is survived by his wife, Miriam J. (McBride) Moser, whom he married on December 14, 1941; a daughter, Pamela Moser of Shelby; a brother, Russell Moser of Shelby.

He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas Timothy Moser in 1947; 2 brothers, Stanley Moser and Vernon Moser and by a sister, Thelma Thomas.

Calling hours will be on Sunday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, where a Christiam wake service will be conducted at 8:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 12:00 noon at Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Church with his pastor, Father John C. Missler, officiating. Burial will we in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh.
