Robert E. Ernsberger

Robert E. Ernsberger, age 74, of 2550 State Route 580 #262, Clearwater, Florida and formerly of 23 Sunset Drive, Shelby, died Thursday morning, March 5, 1998 at Mease Countryside Hospital in Safety Harbor, Florida.

Mr. Ernsberger was born October 25, 1923 in Shelby the son of the late Ray Daniel and Ruth (Morton) Ernsberger. He was the former owner/operator of Ernsberger Auto Sales and Service in Shelby. He Attended Grace Brethren Church in Ashland and was a Marine in World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jane (Armatrout) Ernsberger, whom he married on October 23, 1944; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Melinda and Michael Combs of Shelby; and Pamela and Arthur Traxler of Shelby; 1 son and daughter-in-law, Robert Edward and Jane Ernsberger of Shelby; 4 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Roger, Ray and Richard Ernsberger and 1 sister Edna Koontz.

Calling hours will be on Monday from 6-8 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:30 A.M. with Rev. James Currie officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
