Robert E. Cline

Robert E. Cline, age 65, of 30 Central Avenue, Shelby, died Friday at his home. He was born November 14, 1921 in Ganges, the son of Levi and Gertrude (Burgraph) Cline.

Mr. Cline was a retired employee of the Quanex Fabricating Company in Shelby. He was a Navy veteran of WWII and a member of the Shelby V.F.W. George Broderick Post 291.

Mr. Cline is survived by 1 son, Robert Cline of Shelby; 4 daughters: Mrs. Ronald (Ruth) Boyce of Bellville, Mrs. Carol Rickett of Melbourn, FL, Mrs. Richard (Janet) Gerber of Mansfield, and Mrs. Carl (Judy) Henkel of Shelby. 13 Grandchildren; 2 sisters: Mrs. Robert (Lois) Patton and
Avis Craiger both of Rome, Ohio. He was preceded in death by 1 brother Arthur in 1986.

Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Turner Funeral Home with the Rev. S.T. Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Ganges Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shelby “Y” Community Center.
