Reed R. Noble
Reed R. Noble, age 87, a former Shiloh resident, died Thursday evening in Shelby Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. He was born May 7, 1903 in Cass Township, Richland County, Ohio, the son of Perry and Estella (McCormick) Noble.
Mr. Noble was a retired farmer and drove school bus for Shiloh, Crestline, and Galion Schools for 25 years. He was a member of the Methodist Church in Galion and was a 55-year membeer of the Shiloh Grange.
Mr. Noble is survived by 1 sister, Irene Benedict of Shelby; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Verda (Wells) Noble; 1 brother John Noble, and 2 sisters: Lydia Hammond and Lucille Shepherd.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:00 A.M. at the Turner Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh Hubbard, pastor of the Shiloh Methodist Church and Rev. James Updegraff, associate pastor of First Lutheran Church in Shelby, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh. Calling hours will not be observed.
Memorial expressions may be made to the Shiloh Methodist Church and left in care of the funeral home.
