Raymond H. “Jim” Fullager

Raymond H. (Jim) Fullager, age 80, of 150 Mansfield Avenue, died unexpectedly Tuesday evening in Shelby Memorial Hospital after suffering an apparent heart attack. He was born January 9, 1910 in Battlecreek, Michigan, the son of Albert and Estella (Cline) Fullager.
Mr. Fullager retired in 1974 from Ohio Brass Corp. in Mansfield, and prIor to that he worked at the Central Fruit and Grocery Company in Mansfield. He was an Army veteran of WWII and was a member of ObrIen Post #326 Shelby Amerlcan Leglon. He was a charter member and trustee of the Shelby Owls Club, a life member of Post #291 Shelby V.F.W., Mansfield Liederkranz, the Patio Lounge, and the Brass Rail. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Woody Ridge Golf Course.
Mr. Fullager is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Stan (Ruth) Cronenwett of Shelby; 2 grandchildren: Mrs. Jim (Amy) Robinson and Steven Cronenwett; a sister-in-law, Mabel Fullager of Mansfield.
He was preceded in death by his wife Alberta (Lux) Fullager in 1987, by a grandson Mike Cronenwett and a brother Milton Fullager.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the Turner Funeral Home with Father John C. Missler, pastor of Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Church officicating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be today from 2-4 and 7-9 at the funeral home.
Memorial expressions may be made to the Shelby Public Health League or to the charity of the donor’s choice and left in care of the funeral home.
