Paul R. Woodruff

Paul R. Woodruff, age 81, of 74 Park Village, Shelby, died Wednesday afternoon in the Community Care Nursing Home in Shelby. He was born September 5, 1908 in Toledo, Ohio, the son of John Paul and Daisy Belle (First) Woodruff.

Mr. Woodruff was a retired embalmer and funeral director, having worked at the Dye Funeral Home in Shelby and then the Mann Funeral Home in Fostoria until his retirement.

Mr. Woodruff is survived by one son, John Paul Woodruff, of Livermore, California; 1 grandaughter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Eleanor M. (Snyder) Woodruff, in March of 1989.

Private funeral services will be held on Saturday at the Turner Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Carl L. Johnson, Pastor of the First Lutheran Church in Shelby, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.

Memorial expressions may be made to the American Heart Association and left at the Turner Funeral Home.
