Paul David Keener

Paul David Keener, age 70 of St. Rt. 598, Plymouth, died Monday, June 4, 2007 at his home.

Paul was born March 7, 1937 in Nankin, Ohio the son of the late Paul F. and Evelyn (Shellar) Keener. He was a 1955 graduate of Savannah High School and attended the Ohio State University. He spent 38 years of his working career in the printing industry. Paul began his career at Donnelley’s in Willard and worked many years for Scripps Howard. After his retirement, he was an over-the-road truck driver. He was a member of Maple Grove Brethren Church in Nankin. Paul enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking, but his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren.

Paul is survived by his wife, Leona (Danals) Keener, whom he wed on August 15, 1958; 4 children and their spouses, David Paul Keener of Memphis, TN, Patrick Alan and Renna Keener of Memphis, TN, Linda and Jerry Robbins of Shelby, Eric Lee Keener of Memphis, TN; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 4 brothers and spouses, Donald and Shelia Keener of Savannah, Harold and Nancy Keener of Polk, John and Dina Keener of Columbus, and Phillip and Ann Keener of Bailey Lakes; 2 sisters and spouses, Janice and Gary Duncan of Ashland, Jean Ellen and Leroy Fowler of Toledo.

Friends may call on Thursday, June 7, 2007, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 AM with Rev.
