Paul D. Leonhardt

Paul D. Leonhardt, 78, of 31 Grand Blvd., Shelby, died Sunday, November 30, 1997 in Med Central-Mansfield Hospital after a short illness.
He was born November 21, 1919 in Shelby, the son of Edward and Della Mae (Coffey) Leonhardt. Mr. Leonhardt was a graduate of Shelby High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in W.W.II. He sold insurance for many years for Ohio Farmers Insurance Co. and retired from the Walker Agency in Mansfield.
Mr. Leonhardt is survived by his wife, Theresa (Foos) Leonhardt, whom he married on May 30, 1950; 4 daughters and 3 sons-in-law, Sally and Joe Nelson of Mt. Vernon, Amy Barker and Leroy Winegardner of Mansfield, Cathy and Bob Samsel of Connecticut and Mary Hart of New York City; 1 son, Ed Leonhardt of Shelby; 4 grandchildren; 1 sister, Marilyn Stentz of Shelby. He was preceded in death by 1 brother, Harold Leonhardt and 2 sisters, Dorine Graves and Doris Leonhardt.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Lester Champer, pastor of the First Church of the Nazarene, officiating. Burial in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
