Patricia Ann Shearer

Patricia Ann Shearer, age 81, died Tuesday, July 12, 2005 in Sandusky, Ohio.

She was born January 18, 1924 in Shelby, Ohio the daughter of the late James A. and Nora Catherine (Dalton) Shearer. Miss Shearer was a graduate of St. Peter’s High School in Mansfield and from Western Reserve University in Cleveland with a liberal arts degree, majoring in theatre. In 1993 she retired as the Administrator of the Greater Lowell Council for Children in Lowell, Massachusetts. Prior to that, she was the Executive Director of the Cleveland Mental Health Association in Cleveland. She moved to Sandusky after her retirement.

Miss Shearer is survived by several cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial expressions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby is in charge of the arrangements.
