Patricia A. (Bell) Kuhn

Patricia A. Kuhn, age 63, of 3055 State Route 96 East, Shelby, died early Thursday morning, December 14, 1995, in Mansfield General Hospital after a long illness. She was born July 27, 1932 in Shelby.

Mrs. Kuhn was a 1950 graduate of Shelby High School where she was homecoming queen. She attended Samaritan School of Nursing in Ashland and graduated in 1952 as a registered nurse. She started her nursing career at Cincinnati General Hospital in the polio and pediatric wards. She worked many years at Copperweld-Shelby Division as an industrial nurse.

She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Shelby, and the Shelby T.O.P.S. Club #426, where she was named national queen in 1965.

Mrs. Kuhn is survived by her husband, Virgil L. Kuhn, whom she married on April 4, 1954; 4 daughters and 1 son-in-law, Denise Kuhn of Shelby, Tamela and John Davis of Shelby, Melinda Rowe of Shelby and Lisa Kuhn of Shelby; 5 grandchildren; her mother, Myrtle L. (Bonecutter) Bell of Shelby; 1 brother, Clyde Bell of Shelby; 2 sisters, Bonnie Swanger of Shelby and Carol Sutter of Shelby; She was preceded in death by her father, Ralph George Bell in 1984.

Funeral services were held Friday morning at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby, with Rev. J. Malcolm Brook, officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
