Opal M. (Stallard) Kennedy

Opal Kennedy, 75, of 30 Simeon Avenue, died Wednesday morning in Shelby Memorial Hospital
after an extended illness. She was born Jan. 1, 1911, in Olive Hill, KY, the daughter of the late Frank and Rebecca (Reynolds) Stallard. She had been a Shelby resident since 1967.

Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her son, Clarence Eugene Kennedy of Mansfield; two daughters: Mrs. Woody (Naomi) Bays of Shelby and Mrs. Robert (Brenda) Easterling of Mansfield; and four grandchildren.

Services will be held Friday at 1 in the afternoon at the Turner Funeral Home by the Reverand Cecil W. Frazier, pastor of the Miracle Meetings Church in Galion. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Calling hours will be tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday one hour before services.
