Ollie W. Cole
Ollie W. Cole, age 71, of Walnut Street, Shelby , died Sunday, January 25, 2009 at his home.
He was born September 6, 1937 in Shiloh. Ollie was a graduate of ShilohHigh School and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from Copperweld in Shelby after 36 years of service. He had attended GraceValleyBaptistChurch in Shelby. Ollie enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was an avid gardener.
Ollie is survived by his children: Scott and Barb Cole of Shelby, Karla Ensman and her fiancé, Larry Lawrence of Shelby, and Karen and Robert Martion of Shelbyville, Kentucky; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; His Mother, Lillian Adkins of Chesapeake, Ohio; 3 brothers, Joe Barnett of Florida, Dale Cole of Florida, and Charles Cole of Arizona; 2 sisters, Kay Dearth of Beverly, Ohio, Patricia Cole of Fairborn. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda (Queen) Cole in 2001, his father, Clyde Cole, his stepmother, Anne Cole by a son, Stephen Douglas Cole, a brother Donald Eugene Cole and a sister, Leona Mae Cole.
Friends may call on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 AM Wednesday, January 28, 2009 by Rev.
