O. Hubert Livingston

O. Hubert Livingston, 89, of 10 Mickey Road, Shelby, died unexpectedly Tuesday, September 23, 1997 at his home. He was born June 15, 1908 in Savannah, Ohio the son of Edgar R. and Bertha L. (Hartman) Livingston.

Mr. Livingston was a 1926 graduate of Savannah High School and had been a self employed in the meat business for 25 years. He retired from A.M.F. in 1971 after 19 years of service. He was an active member of the First Church of God on St. Rt. 39. He was a charter member of the Christian Businessmen Committee in Shelby, and its Thursday Morning Prayer Group.

He is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Lou and Jerry Stairs of Mansfield and Kay Jean and Ted Newmeyer of Shelby; 1 son and Daughter-in-law, Dr. David and Bette Livingston, D.C. of Norwalk; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian Lucille (Rumph) Livingston in 1995, by a daughter, Shirley Ann Livingston, a grandson, Stephen Paul Stairs and by a brother, Russell Livingston.

Calling hours will be on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby. Funeral services will be on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the First Church of God on St. Rt. 39 in Shelby with Rev. Tim E. Schrock, officiating. Burial in Ashland Cemetery. Memorials to the First Church of God.
