Norma L. (Harruff) Shade

Norma L. Shade, age 67, of 4328 Funk Road, Shelby died unexpectedly Sunday at her home. She was born September 17, 1925 in Marion, Ohio, the daughter of Cecil and Hazel (Smart) Harruff.

Mrs. Shade was a homemaker and was a former employee of the Wilkins Air Force Depot in Shelby. She was a 1943 graduate of Marion Harding High School.

Mrs. Shade is survived by her husband, W. Eugene Shade, whom she married on February 25, 1945; 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Danny E. and Linda Shade of Mansfield, and David A. and Cheryl Shade of Shelby; 4 grandsons: Timothy, William, Mark, and Matthew Shade, and 1 grandaughter, Tara Shade; 1 sister: Jean Young of Lorain.

There will be no calling hours or funeral service.

Memorial expressions may be made to the Geauga Humane Society, 12513 Merritt Road, Chardon, Ohio 44024, and can be left in care of the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby which is in charge of the arrangements.
