Nora May Click

Nora May Click, age 98, of 96 Broadway, Shelby, died Sunday morning April 27, 2003 after a short illness, at the home of her daughter, Nola, with whom she resided.

She was born April 15, 1905 in Morehead, Kentucky the daughter of the late John and Lillian (Wilson) Brown. Mrs. Click was a homemaker and a member of the First Church of God. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Click is survived by 4 daughters: Nola Click, Chloe Click, Pearl Couch, and Jean Totten all of Shelby; a son Thomas Danny Click of Mansfield; 6 grandchildren and spouses: Steve and Mary Baldridge of Shelby, Jim and Delana Rivers of Mabank, TX, Mary Eicholtz of Lima, Violet Arthur of Shelby, Carl Rivers, Jr. of Shelby, and Bill and Cheryl Baldridge of Shelby; 9 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; a brother and spouse, Sidney and Annelise Brown of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert L. Click on December 23, 1954, a daughter, Lillian Rivers in 1978, 2 sons, Sidney Lee Click in 1993, John David Click in 2000, a great grandson, Joshua Catlet Baldridge, a great great grandson, Brandon Joseph and 2 sisters and 11 brothers.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday, April 29, 2003 from 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be on Wednesday at 10:30 AM with Pastor John M. Vollmer of Mansfield Grace Temple, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial expressions may be made to Shelby Home and Public Health.
