Nettie Luella (Yaussy) Eckstein

Nettie Luella Eckstein, age 77, of 512 Willow Drive, Apt. B, Plymouth, died early Monday morning at her home after an extened illness. She was born July 22, 1913 in Liberty Township, Crawford County, Ohio the daughter of John G. and Minnie (Schwartz) Yaussy. She had lived in Plymouth the past 15 years coming from the Tiro area.

Mrs. Eckstein was a seamstress and homemaker. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of the Shelby Congregation of Jehovahs’ Witnesses.

She is survived by 1 daughter and son-in-law: Joyce and Raymond Von Stein, of Shiloh; 1 son and daughter-in-law: Dennis and Janet Eckstein of Mansfield; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers: Lester Yaussy of Collins, Carl Yaussy of Marysville, and George Lisle
Yaussey of Bucyrus.

She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Ellsworth Eckstein in 1973 and by a son John C. Eckstein in 1959 and by an infant daughter.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at the Turner Funeral Home with Foster Keinath officiating. Interment will be in Tiro Oakland Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home.

Memorial expressions may be made to the American Cancer Society and left in care of the funeral home.
