Naomi J. (Barbour) Bays

Naomi J. Bays, 49, of 30 Simeon Ave. died unexpectedly Tuesday afternoon in Shelby Memorial Hospital.

She was born Sept. 1, 1939, in Sara Ann, WV, the daughter of Ollie and Opal Stallard Barbour, who are both deceased. She was an employee of General Motors’ Mansfield-Ontario CPC Plant in Ontario and was a former employee of Mansfield Tire and Rubber Co.

Surviving are her husband, Woody, whom she married Jan. 8, 1977; one daughter, Kristie Bays, at home; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Brenda) Easterling of Mansfield; and one brother, Clarence Kennedy of Mansfield.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Turner Funeral Home, where services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Edward N. Beck, pastor of the Taylortown Community Church. Burial will be Oakland Cemetery.
