Nadine Lynn (Goon) Walter
Nadine Lynn (Goon) Walter, age 52, of Mansfield, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at her home.
She was born February 23, 1960 in Mansfield, the daughter of John and Martha (Harris) Goon. She was a 1978 graduate of Crestview High School and was a former employee of Kroger and Gorman Rupp Co.
Nadine is survived by her husband: Greg Walter, whom she wed on December 21, 1979; 2 daughters: Stephanie Walter and Sherrie Lynn Walter both of Mansfield; 4 grandchildren: Seth, Shaelyn, Harley and Trent; her mother: Martha Goon of Ashland; 3 sisters: Anita Hoffman of Jeromesville, Cheryl (Tyler) Merritt of Jeromesville, Christal Hoffman of Bucyrus; a brother: Dwight (Jessie Sager) Goon of Greenwich; a sister-in-law: Candy Walter of Crestline; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; a brother: Dwight Mark Herndon; and a sister: Stephanie Goon.
Friends may call on Monday, October 22, 2012 from 1-2 PM at Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby where funeral services will be at 2 PM conducted by her sister Christal Hoffman.
