Milton L. (Bud) Lynch
Milton L. “Bud” Lynch, age 74, formerly of 3469 London West Road, died Sunday evening in Mercy Hospital in Willard after an extended illness. He was born August 10, 1917 in Shelby the, son of Milton James and Leottie Copeland Lynch.
Mr. Lynch was a retired farmer and rural mail carrier. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church, the Knights of Pythias, National Rural Letter Carriers Association, and was a 50 year-member of the Hazel Grove Grange.
Mr. Lynch is survived by 4 sons and daughter-in-law: June and Samuel Lynch of Clyde, and Sue and Earl Lynch, Pam and Roger Lynch, and Sandi and Ray Lynch all of Shelby; 17 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; 2 brothers: George Lynch of Florida and Walter Lynch of California; 2 half-sisters: Opal Whatman and Leona Guerin, both of florida.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ruth M. (Fackler) Lynch in November of 1989; 2 half-sisters: Clara Miller and Dawn Dick; and by a twin sister Mable Smith.
Cailing hours will be on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M at the First Lutheran Church with hIs pastor the
Rev. Dr. Carl L. Johnson, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
Memorial expressions may be made to the First Lutheran Church or to the Shelby Public Health League and left in care of the funeral home.
