Michael Ray Severns

Michael Ray Severns, age 18, of 100 West Smiley Avenue, Apt. #2, died at 8:37 A.M. Sunday in the Cleveland Metro Health Medical Center. He was born April 2, 1975 in Shelby, the son of Max B. and Virginia (Ramey) Severns.

Michael is survived by 4 brothers: Jim Severns of Bucyrus, Donald Adkins of Crestline, and Dwayne Heintz and Joseph Severns both of Shelby; 5 sisters and 5 brothers-in-law: Pam and Dan Dunford of North Robinson, Tina and Earl Robinett and Tracy and Frank Webb all of Bucyrus, Susie and Don Adams of Shiloh, and Bridget and Scott DeWitt of Greenwich; his maternal grandmother: Mary L. Ramey of Shelby; his paternal grandmother: Birdie Severns of Marion; aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Max B. Severns in 1985; by his mother Virginia (Ramey) Severns in 1987; his maternal grandfather, George Ramey; and paternal grandfather Milan Severns.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10:30 A.M. with the Rev. Monty Perry officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family and left in care of the Turner Funeral Home.
