Michael J. Hall

Michael J. Hall, age 51, of 48 Sunset Drive, died Thursday afternoon in Mansfield General Hospital. He had been ill since February. He was born December 3, 1940 in Shiloh.
Mr. Hall had been a pipefitter at Copperweld Shelby Division for the past 28 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Shiloh Masonic Lodge #544 F.and A.M., the Alladin Temple in Columbus, the Mansfield Liederkranz, the Shelby American Legion, O’Brien Post #326, Shelby V.F.W. George Broderick Post #291, Mansfield Amvets Robert P. Spreng Post #26, Shelby Owls Club, Shelby Fraternal Order of Eagles, Shelby Moose Lodge. He was a Navy veteran and was a 1958 graduate of Shiloh High School.
Mr. Hall is survived by his wife, Janet M. (Argo) Hall whom he married on April 24, 1976; 2 sons and a daughter-in-law: Kirk A. Spangler of Little Rock, AR; and Michael J. and Sara Hall of Ontario; 1 step-son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth A. and Jeri Ward,of Ontario; 1 grandson Kevin Spangler of Little Rock, AR; his mother, Esther (Price) Howerton of Shelby; 1 sister, Sandra Williams of Miami, FL; mother and father-in-law, Clayton and Sylvia Argo of Shelby.
He was preceded in death by his father Carmel J. Hall and by his step-father Jaye D. Howerton.
Calling hours will be today from 3-5 and 7-9 P.M. at the Turner Funeral Home and one hour prior to the 11:30 A.M. Funeral service on Saturday at the First United Methodist Church with his pastor
Rev. Lyle Hinkle, officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Military graveside services will be conducted by the Shelby American Legion. Masonic services will be held this evening at 8:45 P.M. at the funeral home.

I never met you grandpa, but I miss you very dearly.
