Mattie A. (Caudill) Foreman

Mattie A. Foreman, age 81, of Hinesville Road South, Shelby, died unexpectedly Monday evening September 25, 2000 at her home.

She was born April 21, 1919 in Morehead, Kentucky the daughter of Everett and Clora (Hall)
Caudill. She was a 1936 graduate of Morehead High School, was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, and was a former employee of Shelby Metal Products and Cornell’s IGA.

Mrs. Foreman is survived by nieces and nephews. On Apri 10, 1936, she married Charles Venton Foreman who preceded her in death on October 14, 1988. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Claude Caudill; 3 sisters: Gertrude Morris, Christine Hosack, Hattie Brown; nephews: Russell Morris, Jr., and Everett Morris.

Calling hours will be on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10 AM with Rev. Steven Schag officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Memorial expressions may be made to the church or to Shelby Home and Public Health.
