Mary Lou (Posekany) Amert

Mary Lou Amert, 47, of 2187 Holtz Road died Friday morning at Mansfield General Hospital after a
long illness.

She was born Feb. 17, 1946, in Shelby to Edward and Orthella ArterPosekany of Shelby, and was a 1964 graduate of Shelby High School. Mrs. Amert was a former employee of Shelby Insurance Co., previously working at Shelby Business Forms. She was a member of the Mansfield
Baptist Temple, where she was a Sunday school teacher.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Amert Jr., whom she married Aug. 31, 1974; two sons, Derek Amert and Neil Amert, both at home; a daughter, Mara Lynn Amert, at home; two brothers, Robert Posekany of Ontario and Richard Posekany of Shelby; and a sister, Shirley Gardnerof New Haven, IN.

Calling hours will be Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Turner Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Crawford County Memory Gardens by the Rev. Richard K. Folger. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
