Mary F. (Strosnider) Kocher

Mary F. Kocher, age 74, of 96 North Gamble Street, Shelby, died Friday afternoon at her home after a 6-month illness. She was born October 17, 1912, in Newark, Ohio, the daughter of William W. and Elsie (Fry) Strosnider.

Mrs. Kocher is survived by her husband, Rollin B. (Rollie) Kocher, whom she married on June 1, 1935; 1 son, John A. Kocher of Port Clinton, OH; 1 daughter, Mrs. David (Sue A.) Clingan of Shelby; 5 grandchildren; 2 sisters: Mrs. Paul (Betty) Cady and Mrs. Catherine Smithberger, both
of Newark, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by 1 brother and 2 sisters.

Mrs. Kocher was a former employee of the Elsie Louise Shop in Shelby and the Shelby License Bureau. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Shelby.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 P.M. at the First United Methodist Church with her pastor the Rev. Carl G. Beighley, officiating. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Friends may call on Sunday at the Turner Funeral Home any time after 12:00 Noon, where the family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church or the Shelby Public Health League and left at the funeral home.
