Mary E. (Lynch) Dunmyer

Mary E. Dunmyer, 74, of 260 W. Main St. and formerly of Cresson, PA, died at 11:18 p.m. Tuesday in Mansfield General Hospital following an extended illness.

Born March 22, 1912 in Cresson, she was the daughter of Joseph Francis and Elizabeth (O’Hara) Lynch. She had lived in Shelby the past couple of years.

She was a retired employee of the State School and Hospital in Cresson. She was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Cresson and the Legion of Mary. She is survived by two sons: Raymond Francis Dunmyer, Jr. of Cresson, and Donald Wayne Dunmyer of Cuyahoga Falls; three daughters: Beverley Shade of St. Louis, MO; Patty Noel Thomas and Darlene Rickens, both of Shelby; 28 granchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Jane Stock of California.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Francis Dunmyer, Sr. in 1964 and by two sons; one grandchild; one brother; and one sister.

Funeral mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Cresson. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery.

Friends may call 7-9 this evening at Turner Funeral Home and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at Kennedy Funeral Home in Cresson.
