Mary A. (Love) McCurdy
Mary A. McCurdy, 85, formerly of 296 Trux St., Plymouth, died Sunday afternoon in the Convoy Care Center in Convoy, Ohio, after a long illness.
She was born Nov. 30, 1899, in Shelby to the late William and Jennie (Seath) Love. Mrs. McCurdy formerly was a clerk for Taylor’s Department Store in Cleveland. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Plymouth.
She is survived by nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph H. McCurdy, on Sept. 3, 1969. She was also preceded in death by six brothers.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby by the Rev. Julian Taggart, her pastor. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Galion. Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Plymouth First Presbyterian Church and left at the funeral home.
