Martha M. (Stockmaster) Presler
Martha M. Presler, age 75, of 4953 State Route 39, Crestline, died Thurdsay, November 1, 2001 at the Heritage Care Center after a short illness.
She was born May 24, 1926 in New Washington, Ohio, the daughter of the late Peter and Theresa (Oswald) Stockmaster. Mrs. Presler was a 1944 graduate of New Washington High School and was a member of Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Church. She was a homemaker and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.
Mrs. Presler is survived by her husband, Howard W. Presler, whom she wed on July 27, 1946; 3 daughters and 3 sons-in-law: Judy and Fred Scheid of Monroeville; Patty and Cletus Hoepf of Bucyrus; and Diane and Roger Hicks of Shelby; 2 sons and daughters-in-law: Tom and Karen Presler of Galion, and Jim and Janice Presler of Chatfield; 17 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a sister: Millie Wurm of New Washington.
She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Richard and Bernard Stockmaster.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where a Christian wake service will be held on Sunday at 8PM. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 10 AM at Most Pure Heart Of Mary Catholic Church with Father Nick Cunningham officiating. Burial will be in Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery. Memorial expressions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Diabetes Association.
