Mark Anthony Ash
Mark Anthony Ash, age 43, of Shelby, died unexpectedly Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Med Central Shelby Hospital.
He was born July 6, 1964 in Mansfield. He was a cook at the Brickley Restaurant having worked there when it was Swig’s, Reese’s and the Bayou Café – a total of 15 years at that location. Prior to that, he worked for Jack Miller Plastering.
Mark is survived by his mother, Joyce A. (Malone) Ash; 4 sisters, Ruby Ash, Violet and Ed Kaufman , Evelyn and Dan Cattey and Vivian Ash all of Shelby. He was preceded in death by his father, Harrison T. Ash and by a sister, Lois Ballard.
Friends may call on Monday, January 21, 2008 from 5-8 PM at the Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street, Shelby, where funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 11:00 AM by Dr. Bruce Philippi. Pastor of Journey Life Center officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby.
