Marion L. Howman

Former Mansfield resident, Marion L. Howman, 79, and sister of a Shelby woman, died Wednesday afternoon at Crestwood Care Center.

She was a member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Mansfield and the Altar-Rosary Society at the church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold W. Howman.

She is survived by one son, Dr. Carroll Dean Howman, D.V.M. of Lorain; one daughter, Mrs. Allan (Anita) Kaufman of Northport, AL; one sister, Dorothy M. Roush of Shelby; six grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A mass of the resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church with Rev. James E. Steinle officiating. Burial will be in Mansfield Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Turner Funeral Home 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday. The Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
