Marion C. Frank

Marion C. Frank, age 84, of 88 Grand Blvd. Extention in Shelby, died Friday afternoon in Mansfield General Hospital. He was born March 18, 1909 in Crestline, Ohio the son of Aurora M. and Jennie V. (Molder) Frank.

Mr. Frank was owner of Frank’s Barber Shop in Shelby for over 50 years.

Mr. Frank is survived by his wife, Viola (Kessler) Frank whom he married on December 1, 1969; 2 daughters and 1 son-in-law: Janet and Tom Clabaugh of Shelby and Judy Wichterman of Crestline; 1 son and a daughter-in-law: Keith and Betty Frank of Emporia, Kansas; 9 grandchildren; 1 great-grandaughter; 1 brother, Warren Frank of Shelby, and a sister Fannie Bair of Shelby.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy (Sponseller) Frank in 1967 and by 1 brother Herbert Frank in 1981.

In keeping with Mr. Frank’s wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral services. Burial was this morning (Saturday) in Oakland Cemetery in Shelby. Memorial contributions may be made to the Christian Broadcasting Ministries Debt Retirement Fund in Castalia, Ohio, and left in care of the Turner Funeral Home in Shelby which is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
