Marie Ellen (Lane) Valk

Marie Ellen Valk, age 87, formerly of Walnut Street in Shelby, died Wednesday evening November 22, 1995 in the Crestwood Care Center. She was born September 8, 1908 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Arthur and Mary Lane.

Mrs. Valk is survived by 1 son and daughter-in-law, Willard N. and Fayann Valk of Naples, Florida; 3 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; 1 brother, William Lane of California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Russell Valk on March 4, 1971.

Graveside services will be held on Friday at 1:00 P.M. at Oakland Cemetery. Calling hours will not be observed.

The Turner Funeral Home, 168 West Main Street in Shelby is in charge of the arrangements.
